This investment supports a strong, innovative economy that benefits everyone.”

Strengthening B.C.’s innovation economy
The Go-to-Market Microgrant Program helps B.C. companies overcome commercialization barriers by providing targeted funding at a crucial stage of growth. By supporting companies to secure customers, generate revenue and build teams, the program fuels a more dynamic and competitive provincial economy.
“Through the Go-to-Market Microgrant Program, we’re helping B.C. companies commercialize, scale and reach new markets,” said Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth. “This is our Look West Strategy in action, which is supporting tech-sector growth, strengthening economic resilience, and helping diversify trade while creating opportunities for people and communities across the province.”
These investments advance Innovate BC’s mandate to accelerate commercialization and align with the Province’s Look West strategy by helping homegrown companies commercialize quicker and expand into new markets.
Quotes:
Peter Cowan, president and CEO, Innovate BC –
“These companies are at a critical stage where the right support can make a real difference in how quickly they move into the market. The Go-To-Market Microgrant is designed to give founders the flexibility to act, whether that’s reaching customers, refining their approach or building early revenue. This cohort reflects the kind of ambition we’re seeing across B.C., and we’re looking forward to what they achieve next.”
Karolina Valente, CEO and CSO, VoxCell –
“The Go-to-Market Microgrant program came as a Christmas gift for VoxCell, supporting the development of our go-to-market strategy and also a branding refresh. The Innovate BC team did a great job with this program. The objectives were clear and the applications were reviewed very quickly. VoxCell is no longer a small company, so most grants no longer apply to us. In my opinion, this Go-to-Microgrant bridges this gap, supporting companies in similar stages as VoxCell.”
Sandeep Arya, chief business officer, Naqi Logix --
“Commercialization is about converting interest into a partner pipeline, not just generating awareness. Innovate BC’s Go-To-Market Microgrant supported our structured pre-, during and post‑ Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 program, enabling targeted outreach, stronger partner materials and repeatable evaluation playbooks, so we could fully leverage Naqi’s CES 2026 Best of Innovation recognition. As a result, meetings that began as introductions are now progressing into non-disclosure agreements, on-site followups and defined evaluation projects, accelerating our path to commercialization.”
