Emilie de Rosenroll

Emilie de Rosenroll is the Chief Growth Officer of Atreides, a Canada-US-UK based data analytics company that transforms big data into smart data by generating geospatial insights for defense and national security sectors.

With nearly two decades of leadership experience in multi-stakeholder organizations, Emilie has built and structured many partnerships with government and industry. From 2016-2024, she was Founding CEO of Greater Victoria’s economic development partnership (the South Island Prosperity Partnership) and the Startup CEO of COAST (the Center of Ocean Applied Sustainable Technologies). Before that, she consulted as the lead architect to the Government of Nova Scotia on restructuring and launching six new economic development organizations.

Emilie holds her ICD designation and is currently the incoming chair of InnovateBC, the B.C. Crown Corporation dedicated to fostering innovation and helping companies grow from idea to scale. She is trilingual, has two amazing kids, and extensive international experience. Emilie has served on multiple boards and received many awards, including the 2020 Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 award, a Woman of Influence western finalist for the 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, and the Victoria Community Leadership Award for Belonging and Engagement (2022).
