As Digital Marketing + Brand Manager, Shirley leads Innovate BC’s digital marketing and social media strategies, and manages the organization's visual brand identity across all print and digital spaces.
With 12+ years of experience in the marketing and communications field, and with a specialization in social media, Shirley's background spans across various sectors including events, tourism, health and safety, education and entertainment, where she delivered goal-oriented campaigns and impactful creative content.
Shirley worked most recently with the BC Pavilion Corporation (BC PavCo) where she managed social media for the award-winning Vancouver Convention Centre, and generally supported marketing and communications efforts organization-wide to help bring world-class events to Vancouver.
Shirley holds a B.A. in Communication, as well as a certification in Digital and Mobile Marketing from Simon Fraser University.
