Bryan Wattie
Director, Microfunding + Agritech Adoption, Integrated Markets
Bryan brings a wealth of hands-on experience to Innovate BC, with a background in agriculture, food processing, agronomy, and agricultural technology. As our Agtech sector specialist, he oversees the BC On-Farm Technology Adoption Program and fosters strong relationships across the Agtech ecosystem in British Columbia. He is also supporting the development of new microfunding programs to support growing companies across industries in B.C.
He has held diverse roles in project and product management, as well as business development, spanning consulting firms, Agtech startups, food processors, and public sector organizations.
Bryan holds an M.Sc. and B.Eng. from McGill University in Bioresource Engineering, where he focused on biomaterials, food processing, and agricultural technology.
