Powered by Innovate BC
At Web Summit Vancouver 2026, the BC Founder Faceoff: $10K Pitch Competition saw some of British Columbia’s most promising ventures come together with bright ideas, bold business plans, and the best that B.C. tech has to offer — all at the BC Pavilion.
Who won? Jointly Solutions took top honours and the $10,000 grand prize for its online platform that helps Canadians create legally valid relationship agreements, such as prenups, postnups, and cohabitation agreements — entirely online and at a fraction of the traditional cost.
Other Standout Finalists: At the finale, standout companies KnowledgeKeepr, Butterfly Legal, and Farpoint Technologies showed the range of innovative solutions emerging from B.C. across sectors, including AI, legal innovation, and Indigenous tech.
A Showcase of B.C.’s Startup Talent
The competition featured a curated group of 12 B.C. companies, each delivering fast-paced pitches to a panel of expert judges. After preliminary rounds, top ventures advanced to a live finale — competing for a $10,000 prize while gaining visibility on an international stage.
